After three days waiting in Puerto Natales we finally could get on board of the ferry. The boat is actually a cargo boat, but you have the possibility to take it as normal passenger. The trip goes 4 nights and 3 days and brings you 2000 km up north to Puerto Montt. The coast in this area is full of fiords and channels and glaciers which ends in the see. There is no street and no house in the hohle area, just a small port called Puerto Eden wich has a population of 150 peoples. This village is 1000 km north from Puerto Natales and has no streets. The only way to get there is by boat.
Save and sound back on ground, we arrived in Peurto Montt where we went to the fish market to have our first meal. The market is surrounded by small restaurants wich serve fresh fish and seafood. From there we took the bus to Puerto Varas where we spend christmas.
We had a very nice time on the boat, met good people from all over the world and had some funny drunken nights.www.navimag.com
